Hi, I'm Dani...
From a young age, I was always active (from dance to horse riding, to tennis, to rollerblading, to gym training & athletics), and I went on to build a successful 15-year career as a professional dance teacher in London. But in 2020, everything shifted. I was burnt out, unhappy, and completely disconnected from the joy movement used to bring me. So I made a change, got qualified as a personal trainer, and Awesome Bodies was born.
My fitness journey hasn’t been perfect (far from it). Like many people, I fell into the trap of chasing the “perfect body”—fad diets, overtraining, and a pretty unhealthy relationship with food and exercise. Eventually, I hit a point where I knew something had to change.
So I flipped the script.
I moved away from punishing workouts and strict dieting, and started focusing on what my body could do, not just how it looked. I discovered calisthenics, set myself new challenges (hello marathons and obstacle races), and found my love for movement again.
These days, I train for strength, skills, longevity and enjoyment—not aesthetics. I’m more excited about hitting a muscle up or climbing a mountain than worrying about how I look in the mirror.
That’s exactly why I created Awesome Bodies. I want to help you feel strong, confident, and proud of your body—not stuck in a cycle of “not good enough.”
If you train with me, expect encouragement, plenty of laughs, and a big shift in how you see yourself.
Because your body is awesome—and I can’t wait to show you what it’s capable of 💪
I believe that in this short, little life we get on earth, we might as well go all in; we’re here to have fun, do the things we love and should challenge ourselves to achieve the things we dream of.
